Home Builder Coach – Having A Dream 100 Mindset

You know, I was actually, I was actually talking to somebody here in Oklahoma who’s like a real cowboy.

 

And he told me that cowboys would put a lantern on their saddle at night so that they can find the trail when they were, you know, far from home. And, this was apparently the earliest version of satellite navigation. Oh, my God, stop it. That is.

 

Oh, my God, home builder coach, you all know something crazy. Well, so when we first moved into our house out here, we live on a national. But I don’t build a Civil War battlefield. And there was a night I watched walk through the woods, what looked like a lantern on a horse. Well, and it bobbed and bobbed and bobbed and then it disappeared.

 

But I don’t believe in a ton of stuff like that. But that was pretty, pretty cool to see. That’s wild. That’s wild. You know, saw a ghost. I just got a text from my wife, and apparently tonight we’re having Himalayan rabbit stew for dinner. Does, she found Himalayan in the road?

 

Even Cassie laughed at that one.

 

Hey, guys, I do have, one more, one more to do. One more. What did the ghost say? And what did the ghost say when it woke up with a bad hangover? It read me like a script, man. Isn’t it something about the boos, man. I really need to lay off the boos. And, home builder coach, are these summer jokes?

 

Some are funny, some are not bad. Yeah, yes they are. They are. All right. Well, I thought I’d have to bring a couple of good ones for you for Friday. Those are export tricks. Those are tricks and not treats, I get it. Today being the 31st, I can’t believe we’re about to dive into November. That is just crazy.

 

It doesn’t even seem like it all. A good time flies when you’re having fun. Well, did did anybody have any, challenges, objections, obstacles to getting, you know, a potential lead across the finish line? Anything you ran into that was, you know, difficult. Whatever electrical box is on the home site. I was sharing some of your jokes, and they just kept running away.

 

So I know that could be an obstacle. Say that one more time. Ty. The home builder coach was sharing some of your jokes with clients trying to break the ice, and then they would just run out of the monologue. Okay. That’s good. Sorry. I deserve all right. That that was good. Any, anybody else with an objection or, customer? You’re trying to get to the next step and you’re running into some hurdles with from anything.

 

I have a customer who doesn’t like electrical boxes on their home site that they originally wanted. Okay, they get better lighting like that. They get more power. I like the tone. And it’s like three of them. It’s like, like a lot. It’s not just even one. I kind of get it once it’s on the extra arm. They’re going to borrow from the power lines is a nice spell.

 

Jordan. Don’t tell them their foil. How to get better reception. Well, I would just say this, home sites. What I tell customers is this every home site has something on it, right? It’s like you’re going to either have electrical box, electrical boxes, you’re going to have, gas line easements, you’re going to have a cable box, fire hydrant, light pole.

 

Job sign. Right. You’re going to have something there. You’re going to have manhole covers, drainage, something else. Right. So I would kind of almost list off the list house. Every homestead has something on it. I promise you. You’re not going to find any of that. Don’t. Did you guys want electrical to your home? It’s kind of hard, but it’s like, oh, did you guys not want electrical in your home?

 

Are you guys Amish? You know, that’s kind of like when they say the electrical thing. I go, oh, I didn’t realize you guys were Amish. I apologize, did you not want electrical like that? Is a response to that just to kind of make a joke of it. But then I just say that every home site has stuff on it, every home site.

 

So, which things would you like on it? And then I would also take a picture.

 

Of a electrical box.

 

That someone grew bushes around in a community and show it to you. There’s a lot of examples of it.

 

And a home builder coach would say most people just kind of put some, you know, dense shrubs around it, usually an evergreen of some kind, because evergreens, you know, you want to not see it in the winter as well as the summer. So don’t put a deciduous there. But every everything has something. And I would say the nice thing about electrical boxes is they’re kind of the easiest to hide in your landscaping, where a light pole or a stop sign or a gas line easement, you know, fire hydrants, you can’t really do that with a lot of those.

 

But with electrical, you can. So I would just say to them.

 

Electrical is the easiest to hide. What’s landscaping? What’s.

 

Does that make sense? Yeah I don’t I mean he’s my guy from Indianapolis, so he hasn’t even seen the home site, so I don’t I won’t be objection about something that doesn’t exist. Values. Those are the best when they’re like, I’ve never even been there. But I have an objection about it. Hey, home builder coach. Yeah? You remember this?

 

Stop treating complaints as objections. Yeah, I think people just complain about stuff and, like, they’re just complaining. Like, I actually posted this on Facebook. You walk into Apple and it’s like, oh my God, the the 512 gig new iPhone 17 is like $1,500. That is ridiculous. I cannot believe I just paid 1500 for one six months ago.

 

Anyway, I need one for me and my wife. Do you have it in blue and in the orange? Right? Right. So it’s just people complain about stuff. I don’t want it to look like sort of objection, you know? So after overtime you’re like, yeah, it sucks. Gotta have electrical. Yeah. What are you gonna do? Yeah. Well, you’re on lines.

 

If you want to be, then totally. I like to kind of quantify and qualify, you know, every time you have an objection it’s quantify qualify right the the two cuz every objection looks objection is q-q.

 

Quantify qualify. It’s like qualify is like.

 

Is that something you are very concerned about.

 

Or is that a dealbreaker for you. Right. Is that some a hitman you are very concerned about? Sorry, something that was supposed to be something I can’t type. Is that a dealbreaker for you? Like, just find out. Like, is that is that going gonna stop it? And then quantifying is like, you know, some number about what they said.

 

Well, if there was one electrical box, is it a problem. You know, the this one has three or something, you know, then it’s like, oh okay. It’s got the trifecta. It’s got the hydrant, the light pole and the electrical box or whatever, you know. So it’s like quantifying how big of an electrical box is okay with you. It’s just, you know, go into the quantity of it.

 

So ask the specifics. But it’s so true. A lot of times that are just complaining. And, the home builder coach would also say this, my guess is he has a backyard with a giant electrical box or something like he dealt with it. A lot of times they’ll ask about what they already have because it’s something they don’t like about their current home.

 

So sometimes I’ll just be like, do you have that right now? Now? Like, yeah, I do. Well, that just tells you they were still willing to buy it in spite of that thing.

 

All right. Anybody can stand up there. Yeah. Hey, is a is a VA loan non-conventional or conventional on a residential contract? Non-conventional? Yeah.

 

It should be a, a rider for that to Brady fire the finance loan rider. I’m getting that.
