Did you, miss work, or was it just a longing to get back to work? Is that how you both felt? Love for it? I sold a house on vacation, so I was good.
That’s true. You did? And a and a very good one to sell as well. I know home builder consultant sold a house to a from Tampa to a lady in San Diego to live in Valpo. Kind of crazy. Excellent. Well, I enjoyed my vacation. Two miles down the road to my house from the south. That’s. That’s where my vacation was. Jordan. Did home builder consultant go anywhere exciting? So he is long vacation for him. You’re in Broken Arrow? Yeah. Oh, I wanted to go there. We went through about Broken Bow on our way home. I had to say no. Get that out of me. There you go. Yeah. Broken bow is very beautiful. Broken arrow is not enough. I had heard it was really pretty there.
Like, is that the foothills of the Ozarks? It is not here. No. That’s, there might be some other broken something that is broken bow is pretty broken. Arrow. Not. There’s a place called Poteau that is kind of the foothills of the mountains over there. You cross over, where you were is close to a place called Talia.
Hena, which, Talia Hena is in Oklahoma. Mina is in Arkansas. And there is a one of the, actually, prettiest roads in the country is called the Tala Mina Scenic Drive. And it goes from Tel Hena to Mina. Therefore, it’s called the Talman Scenic Drive. It doesn’t mean. No, but when we were looking on Priceline, there’s no hotels there, at least not any.

If you go on a weeknight and I would go on a weeknight. Yeah. There you go. That’s the place right there. Well. That’s great. Yeah. Well, I’ll have to let you know when I want to go.
Yeah. It’s great. I mean, if you like the mountains and there’s 24 acres there, it’s very beautiful. You’re surrounded by the national forest, is it? How do you pronounce that? Wahida. Oh, yeah. Where you. You make up your own way. That’s how we do it. It’s actually called wash your tall wash. Utah. Jordan, we’ve heard a lot of names for that place, haven’t we?
It’s the wash. Utah National Forest is, 1.1. 2 million acres. 1.8 million, I can’t remember. Anyway. It’s big. It’s right out the back door of my property there. So my land abuts the National Forest there. So nice. It’s pretty. Yeah, it’s beautiful place. Okay. Ashley’s question of the day was a realtor, for the last sale is saying he needs a copy of the client’s earnest money deposit for his file.
Is this typical? Should home builder consultant give it to him? Totally. Fine. Very typical. You can give it to him. It’s normal. He’s probably also going to ask you for a, signed by the seller version of the agreement. Okay, so he’s probably gonna want that. He’s going to be like, hey, can I get a signed version? So that’s going to happen.
So, yep. Totally normal. Totally fine. You can give it to you. Usually they ask the like admin person, but it’s fine. It’s fine. You should just give it to him. Okay. I wanted to dive into something today, and this was kind of the main thing that I want to focus in on today is 2026. What are your goals?
What do you want to do? What are you trying to do this year? Tell me about the awesomeness of what you’re going to do. This year is kind of where I want to focus in on today. I think that in the homebuilding world, it’s like, usually I get an answer that’s kind of like, I want more sales.
That’s usually kind of the most common thing I get. I want more sales. Okay. That’s great. More sales is one thing that we should want, but setting goals, I think sometimes is a little bit hard for people to kind of know how to set an executable plan. So I want to talk about it a little bit. I’m going to share an image with you here of something that I feel like is a good, visual.

Did you know what will happen to a bullet if you were to put it into a vise and just hit the end of the where the primer is? It’s called a primer. If you hit the primer, can you see that image on your screen? It only goes about two feet. Like if you took a nail and, like, struck a hammer against the nail and put it right on the little primer part, which is what makes the gunpowder explode.
It seems like it would be dangerous and like you’re going to get injured, but actually the bullet will only go about two feet and won’t hurt anybody. If you did that. And the reason is, is because it’s completely unfocused, there’s no barrel to guide it in a path. So there’s no direction. And therefore without a focused path, the energy is scattered and wasted everywhere.
It goes a minimal distance and has very poor accuracy. If you, however, put it inside of a barrel of a rifle and that barrel has a rifling, just means it’s like a twist, you can kind of see it inside of this cross section of this barrel. You can see that it has a twist to it. It makes the bullet be thrown in a spiral.
You ever seen somebody throw a football without a spiral? It’s hard to aim it. It’s hard for it to be accurate where it goes. And it doesn’t go as far. But if you throw a spiral on it, right, intentionally throwing it in a spiral, it goes a lot further, a lot more accurate. Same thing with a bullet. You’ve guided the energy, and you can go hundreds of yards downrange and hit the bullseye.
So the barrel provides a focused path, channeling your energy efficiently. And the result is maximum distance in kind of a pinpoint accuracy. So focus channels energy to hit your target from home builder consultant. So my question for you is if you don’t know what the focus is that you want to go after this year, then the energy and the effort could be lost, right?
Yeah. You could be like the the bullet on the left hand side. By the way, you don’t want to be the bullet on the left hand side. You want to be the one on the right hand side. You want to hit the target. You don’t want it to be kind of wasted. Scattered energy all over the place. That doesn’t produce a result, right?
So the way that we focus is we decide what we’re going to have as our goal for the year. And we do something called writing it down. Oh, Aaron, that’s a novel idea. I should write down what my goals are. So did you guys know that? Well, first of all, have you written down goals in the past?
